The Civil Service/General Personnel Board was established for the purposes of hearing and settling disputes involving City personnel and management. They have the authority to make recommendations to the City Manager and/or City Commission regarding the disposition of personnel disputes, and follow guidelines set forth in the City's Personnel Rules and Regulations Manual. The board consists of 5 members who possess the technical, professional, financial, business or administrative skills necessary to make recommendations on personnel related matters. Meetings are held as needed. The board is assisted and supported by the Human Resources Department.
