The general purpose, powers, functions and duties of the DID Expansion Ad Hoc Committee District is to determine whether Greater Rosemary property owners support the expansion of the Downtown Improvement District to include the Greater Rosemary area. The Committee was created by Resolution No. 15R-2505, adopted by the City Commission on September 8, 2015. The Ad Hoc Committee consists of twelve (12) members. Ten (10) members who were appointed by the City Commission by adoption of Resolution No. 15R-2505 and two members with the following seat requirements: One (1) member who is a resident within the Greater Rosemary District and one (1) member who is a resident within the existing Downtown Improvement District. The Committee shall conduct public meetings, receive written and verbal comments from city staff and the public at large and report to the City Commission no later than nine (9) months from the date of its initial organization meeting.
